As dusk falls in our community of Lakeshore Woods we are lucky to see our resident Beaver in the pond down the road from us. He seems to come out just as the sun is setting and is seen swimming about for loose twigs and the occasional weed. His main course seems to be young trees unfortunately and he has made his presents known by chewing on trees and bushes on every corner of the pond. He has let us get close enough to take some photos of him but one wrong move and with a whack of his tail he is off in the water to swim away.
